Radiology Research Core Facilities
Research in Radiology relies on state-of-the-art technology and expertise to optimize the performance of such equipment, provide quality control, and generate robust research data. Our cores offer services by state-of-the-art equipment operated by highly trained Radiology personnel.

The Data Storage, Processing & Analysis core provides informatics support to researchers in a variety of areas.
Data Storage, Processing,
and Analysis (DaSPA)

A non-invasive imaging technique that uses strong magnetic fields and radio waves to produce highly detailed images of the body’s internal structures, especially soft tissues such as the brain, muscles, and organs.
Magnetic Resonance
Imaging

A non-invasive brain imaging technique that measures the tiny magnetic fields produced by electrical activity in the brain.
Magnetoencephalography

A specialized preclinical imaging facility that supports non-invasive imaging of small animals (such as mice or rats) to study disease mechanisms, evaluate new imaging agents, and test therapies before they are used in humans.
Small Animal
Imaging Resource

Focuses on moving imaging discoveries from the laboratory to patient care. It integrates molecular-level imaging tools with clinical research to enable earlier disease detection, guide targeted therapies, and improve treatment outcomes.
